Inter-governmental Commission of Economic and Trade Cooperation between Afghanistan-Russia The third Session of the Inter-governmental Commission of Economic and Trade Cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Federation of Russia was held on 2016 in Kabul, Afghanistan.The session was co-chaired by Minister of Finance and the Ministry of Energy, with the participation of government representatives of both countries.The parties met in a friendly environment where they discussed how to improve and strengthen trade and economic relations between Afghanistan and Russia. Both parties reaffirmed further expansion and strengthening of trade and economic relations between the two countries, and also emphasized the key role of the Joint Commission to achieve their mutual goals.At the end of the session the 3rd protocol of the Inter-governmental Commission of Economic and Trade Cooperation between the two countries was signed. The protocol consists of cooperation in areas of transport and transit, commerce, higher education and various sections.
